The Saint's tender care of her religious
was manifested by another miracle. One of the sisters was very ill, and asked
for a little milk, but none was to be had. But Brigit desired a sister to fill
a vessel with water and give it to the sufferer. When she received it the water
had been changed to milk, which was as warm as if it were just taken from the
cow, and the draught cured her of her sickness.
